Why We Built This Project
When searching for an online analog clock, users are routinely confronted with low-resolution Flash-era graphics, distorted aspect ratios, intrusive pop-up advertisements, and third-party tracking scripts.
We created analogclock.org to provide a clean, dignified alternative. We treat the browser window as a precision instrument dial. Every curve, hand taper, numeral kerning pair, and tick mark is calculated mathematically in scalable vector code to honor centuries of mechanical horological heritage.

Our Core Principles
- Zero Tracking & No Advertisements: We set no marketing cookies, host no third-party banner ads, and sell no personal data.
- Horological Authenticity: We provide both fluid sweep quartz and 60-step mechanical deadbeat tick movements with true optical numeral layouts.
- Accessibility as a First Principle: Our high-contrast dial options meet WCAG AAA standards (7:1 contrast) to ensure full legibility for users with low vision or color-vision deficiencies.
